Loved this one. Been struggling in my head to even decide what mat to get on, much less the journey to the mat... super inspiring and helpful!

"Keep coming back"... The words I needed to hear as well! I just started a new strength routine, joined a new gym and it's so hard to get through the anxiety of doing something hard/new even if it's not the first time. Thanks for the reminder and wise words, always. I'll think of you and these words when I need a little boost. ❤️Here's to strong women! 💪🏼

Ay mija…These words. ❤️ GOOD ON YOU and THANK YOU for these words. Same boat…about 10 years further along the river and struggling to build back up. “Keep coming back” will be my new mantra. (While I’m working out, I whisper “remember” to my muscles.)

So loving this. Yes - keep coming back.

You've got this, Carla! So true about how long it takes to build muscle and how quick to lose it. The bounce back is not what it used to be;) But muscles still have memory! Love the last line about coming back - the getting there is the hardest part. After the crab walk part.

Your blog started great, and keeps on getting better. You're a wonderful example of how that's possible!

It's great you went back to the gym. I'm, like, old, and an exerciser (starting with ballet so long ago to walking and strength training now), and I always joke about the days when you don't want to do it, but you know that if you don't do it today, you'll never do it again. OK, that's probably not true. (insert laughing at self emoji.) But for me it's still a motivator.
