Beautiful. Thank you. Our fear creeps up on us in moments. It always amazes me how we often default to fear and cling, a life line.

When I joined the Loss & Grief Club (you can always tell when you meet another member, somebody says something that catches you, and you look into each other's eyes and KNOW) I became sensitive to the loss and grief swirling around me that I had never noticed in the world. Now, as a coach, as a volunteer Crisis Counselor at the Crisis Text Line, and as an elder, I learned that humans are connected invisibly by these roots of loss and grief, like the underground system of trees. And love. We are connected by love.
